The History of Home Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, NC

The mission of the Music Program of Home Moravian Church is to provide music leadership which gives glory to God for worship services and special events throughout the year.

To achieve our mission, we are committed to:

  • Growing in our faith
  • Demonstrating and deepening our commitment to God
  • Caring for each other in Christian community
  • Giving  freely of our musical skills according to our individual God-given abilities
  • Preparing ourselves thoroughly to lead the congregation in song
  • Endeavoring to perpetuate our rich musical heritage and look forward to the development of new traditions

This year’s Song of Salem Concert and Lecture will focus attention on the meaning of lovefeast in the Moravian  tradition and the diversity of the various customs for celebrating lovefeast.
