How many coffee cups are in your kitchen? How many of them represent Moravian churches or agencies, or other agencies whose care makes a difference in the world? Would you like to donate any of those mugs to a fun Home Church project?
Each year, the Home Church congregation enjoys a mission lovefeast, usually scheduled for a Sunday in early February. With our 2024 mission lovefeast behind us, we’re looking forward to a special project for next year: the 2025 Mission Lovefeast Mug Giveaway!
Here’s the idea: For the rest of this year, we’ll collect mugs representing our mission partners—congregations, agencies, and other groups to whom we are connected through our outreach giving or mutual service.
In our 2025 mission lovefeast, we’ll serve lovefeast coffee in those mugs—and everyone gets to keep their mug to take home! It will be a great way of showing all the ways Home Church connects with others doing God’s work in the world.
Mugs will be collected and stored at the church throughout this year, so bring them by the church office whenever it’s convenient for you. You might even ask local agencies whether they’d like to contribute a mug or two. Let’s work together to make this happen!
