The Rev. Andrew Heil was installed during Worship on Sunday July 16 as Associate Pastor of Home Moravian Church. We welcomed our new associate pastor and his family with a potluck luncheon in the Fellowship Hall.
Originally from Kentucky, Andrew completed his undergraduate study at Lee University in southeast Tennessee. Admitting that he changed his major 4 or 5 times during college, Andrew is grateful to have met Sarah in one of the many theology classes they enjoyed together.
Graduates of the Wake Forest University School of Divinity and Moravian Theological Seminary, Andrew and Sarah were married at Trinity Moravian Church in January 2011 and look forward to welcoming their first child in August (it’s a girl!).
Having previously served the Hope congregation in Winston-Salem, Andrew said he is blessed to begin a new season of ministry with the community of Home Moravian Church and with trust that the love of Christ will guide us always.
