September 16-18
Higgins Lodge, Laurel Ridge Conference Center
Our theme:

“Created to be Creative: Expressing Wonder and Exploring Faith”

Our leader:

The Rev. Christine Johnson, Pastor,

Fry’s Valley Moravian Church in Ohio

Chris explains: “Does anyone have a bigger imagination than God? Every color-swept sunrise to every starry nightscape, every wildflower-laced meadow to every infant’s eyelash, God’s unmatched artistry is on display in the gallery of all Creation.

"From nothingness to somethingness, all of LIFE is God’s astonishing and ongoing project. And in God’s portfolio, one of the most memorable creations is YOU. You in all of your quirky, beautiful uniqueness are who you are via God’s design. You are magnificent because you are made in God’s image … and if you are made in God’s image that means you, too, are an imaginative being!

"You are created to be creative, and that’s just what we’ll concentrate on in our retreat time. Through playful activities and thoughtful conversations we’ll praise God in whimsical ways and deepen our spiritual practices. Together, we will bring delight to God!”
