Fulfilling Christ's call to love God, live in community, and serve our neighbor

Fourth of July Service

Home Church invites you to the 235th annual Fourth of July service at 8:30 a.m. in Salem Square. Rev. Tobiassen will lead the service.

Members of the Salem Congregation Band will announce the service and accompany the singing of the national anthem and other patriotic hymns. The service will also include the reading of Psalm 33:1-12 and the reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Moravians in Salem held the first official Fourth of July Service in America in 1783.

Please join us on the Square, and bring a chair!
