In June and July for Choir, Men's Chorus, BellChor and Band

HMC Music Schedule for June/July

Last rehearsal before summer break will be Thursday, June 7. HMC Choir will meet at 6:30 p.m. and Men’s Chorus at 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room.

We will resume regular rehearsals on Thursday, July 26, HMC Choir at 6:30 p.m. and Men’s Chorus at 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room.

  • June 10 – In God is My Salvation, Men’s Chorus
  • June 17 – We Walk by Faith, Choir
  • June 24 – “Et Misericordia” From: Magnificat, Veronica Siebert-Alto, Glenn Siebert, Tenor
  • July 1- Communion – Lord Christ Jesus, Our Salvation, Choir and Gregor BellChor
  • July 8 – Guest Musician-TBA
  • July 15 – Organ Solo, Susan Foster
  • July 22 – Guest Musician-Richard Scranton, Trumpet
  • July 29 – 5th Sunday Surprise


Gregor BellChor

The BellChor will play the prelude and offertory on July 1 during Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m.. Meet to rehearse at 9:00 a.m. The bells will play Erik’s setting of GIFT OF LOVE for the prelude. The bells will then accompany the choir anthem, playing Brian Henkelmann’s setting of Lord Christ Jesus Our Salvation which can be sung with organ or piano or handbells. Rehearsals continue as usual in June – 5:30 p.m. in the rehearsal room. BellChor will not rehearse after July 1 due to the busy-ness with the Unity Brass Festival July 19-22.

  • Tuesday, July 4: July 4th Service – Prelude begins at 8:00 a.m. in Salem Square.
  • Thursday – Sunday, July 19-22: Moravian Unity Brass Festival, Wake Forest University.

  • Sunday, Aug. 12, 9:30 a.m.: August 13th Communion
