Fulfilling Christ's call to love God, live in community, and serve our neighbor

Lunch for The Dwelling

Help prepare and serve

Folks are already offering to help with the lunch at The Dwelling on Feb. 25. We’re grateful for your enthusiasm, and we’ll need a lot of it to serve 250 people!

Menu:  K-Ville chicken and rice casserole, green beans, squash casserole, rolls, baked apple cobbler, and drinks for 250.

To get involved check with one of these leaders and/or follow the signup link below:

  • Sarah Jennings, chair of the Home Missions Ministry Team
  • Chris Puryear: food shopping and supervision of kitchen volunteers.
  • Mary Jane Dewees: disposable products (10” plates, napkins, bowls, utensils).
  • Beth Baldwin's Closer-to-Home neighborhood group: all chilled canned drinks, including delivery to The Dwelling the morning of the lunch.

Volunteer positions are open for congregation members.

As a separate initiative, Women’s Fellowship circles are invited to provide men’s underwear. The need is for boxer briefs in larger sizes (L-XL-XXL). Look for the labeled bin in the church office hallway.
