Fulfilling Christ's call to love God, live in community, and serve our neighbor

Please support CROP Walk this week

Hunger-relief support needed this year more than ever

A lot of things are different this year, including the increased need for hunger relief locally and globally, due in part to the pandemic.

So one thing that shouldn’t change is our support for proven hunger relief programs, such as CROP Walk. The money raised here is split between three organizations: Church World Service (international), Crisis Control Ministry and Sunnyside Ministry.

The annual campaign ends this Friday, Oct. 16. Please make your donation, to show our community how much we care about our neighbor – here and everywhere.

Go to the Home Moravian team page to donate directly, or email Sarah Jennings to mail a check.

What if you want to actually walk? You can still do that!
The traditional CROP Walk had been scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 18. We will not gather downtown this year for one big walk. Instead, we are invited to do separate, smaller, socially distanced walks on our own. If you want to register as a walker, you’ll get a T-shirt. Here’s a guide to having a “virtual walk.”

Please take photos or short videos of your “walk” and email them to the church to use on the website and Facebook.
