Human Rights Celebration Sept. 15 at St. Philips Moravian Church

Church Women United of Forsyth County will hold a Human Rights Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 15, at St. Philips Moravian Church.

The time is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A breakfast will be served with a contribution of $10.00 for tickets.

The theme this year is UNITY, “Reaching for Wholeness in Solidarity with God’s Creation.” The Rev. William McElveen, pastor of St. Philips, will speak, and the Hawley House, a place for women returning from prison and addiction, will be honored.
