Candle Tea 2021
Updated August 26
Due to the upward climb of COVID cases in our area at this time, the Women’s Fellowship of Home Moravian Church will not be holding the traditional Candle Teas within the Single Brothers’ House. School and Scout teas will not be held.
The Candle Tea will return to the Salem Square for a one day event on Saturday Dec. 4 from noon until 4 p.m. (rain date Dec. 11).
This one-day festival will highlight the traditions of the Moravians as they welcome the Advent and Christmas season. "Interactive" will be our key word as we engage the strolling public as they wander among the activities presented in Salem Square.
Check back to this site for more information about this unique event.
Candle Tea is considered by many area residents and visitors the opening event of the Advent and Christmas seasons. The Women’s Fellowship of Home Moravian Church organizes and hosts Candle Tea to share with our guests the Moravian traditions and customs of the season. All net proceeds are donated to charitable organizations, locally and globally.
