- 1 HMC Candle Tea Night
In our Wednesday Night Fellowship for Dec. 1, we’ll celebrate the great Home Church tradition of Candle Tea with some special activities!
One is a presentation by Rev. John Jackman, whose film company, Inspirata Films, created the Candle Tea video aired in 2020. For that video, Rev. Jackman and Inspirata won a Gold Award from the AVA Digital Awards. At our Dec. 1 fellowship dinner, Rev. Jackman will present the Women’s Fellowship with a certificate which he received at the awards. He will also bring the statuette awarded to Inspirata!
Afterwards, we’ll test our Candle Tea knowledge with a game of Jeopardy (Candle Tea edition)! Create your own team of Candle Tea experts to compete! Either at home or in the sanctuary, join us as we quiz members with questions about Candle Tea’s long ago and not so long ago!
Menu – Tomato soup, grilled cheese, salad, brownies $5 per adult, $3 per child age 4-11, children 3 and under eat free. Make reservations by calling the church office or submitting the online reservation below.
